Seeking Children and Youth Services Librarian
The Fairfield County Library is seeking an energetic and qualified candidate to fill the position of Children and Youth Services Librarian.
Typical duties will include: Planning, implementing, and publicizing children’s and teen’s programs in the Main and branch libraries; Serving as library liaison with other local agencies serving children; Assisting with collection development; Providing reference service to children, teachers, and parents and providing reader’s advisory service.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited school with some library and children’s programming experience preferred.
Hours: 36 hours per week; will include evenings and weekends.
